美國參議院外委會今天通過抗中法案，確保能因應中國挑戰及對台野心。外交部表示感謝，並強調，近年台美關係深化各界有目共睹，將持續與美國會友人、行政部門保持密切聯繫，持續深化台美全方位合作夥伴關係。

美國聯邦參議院外交委員會21日審查通過「2021年戰略競爭法案」，反制中國大陸的經濟與影響力行為。

美國聯邦參議院外交委員會於美東時間21日審議並通過「2021年戰略競爭法案」（Strategic Competition Act of 2021）。該法案由參院外交委員會主席孟南德茲（Robert Menendez, D-NJ）及共和黨首席議員芮胥（Jim Risch, R-ID）共同提出，是參院民主、共和兩黨共同制定對中戰略方針的第一項重大法案，其中也納入多項友我條文，內容涵蓋台美安全、經濟、政治等各層面的夥伴關係，外交部今（22）天對此表達誠摯歡迎與感謝。

外交部指出，美國聯邦參議院外交委員會於美東時間4月21日審議並通過「2021年戰略競爭法案」（Strategic Competition Act of 2021）。

馬基參議員表示，台灣美國商會所建立的台美互動網絡，讓台美成為彼此的重要貿易夥伴，美國是台灣第二大貿易國，台灣則是美國前十大貿易夥伴。馬基參議員最近與其他三位跨黨派參議員推出台灣獎學金法案（Taiwan Fellowship Act），要讓美國官員可以到台灣唸書、研究與工作。

美國國會議員日前分別在參眾兩院提出「台灣獎學金法」草案，計劃提供美國官員獎學金赴台學習中文，及強化與台灣的戰略夥伴關係。外交部對此表示，這項法案再度彰顯美國參眾兩院對台美關係跨黨派的高度支持。
